What Does Volunteering Entail?
Volunteering can be in small amounts or large amounts, depending on how involved you would like to be. Take the first step today and complete the volunteer application!
As a volunteer, things you may choose to do include:
– Helping transport kitties to a vet –
– Helping transport kitties to spay/neuter appointments –
– Cleaning carriers or kennels –
– Organizing or helping at fundraisers –
– Organizing or helping at adoption events –

VOLUNTEERING FAQS
What type of commitment do I need to give?
Volunteering can be as little as an hour as you wish or on a routine basis! As volunteers, we choose how much and when we can help.
Will I need to drive to volunteer or as part of a volunteer activity?
There are some things that do not require driving or being in person, such as social media, website editor, grant writer and others, however, a majority of our volunteer opportunities require being in person and some require driving kitties around, however, the application will ask which you like to do.
Would I be expected to volunteer every day or week?
That depends on you and what you are trying to volunteer to do. For example, if you volunteer to help on spay days, you could volunteer as it fits your schedule maybe once a month or once a quarter, but if you choose to be a foster coordinator, it is a more hands on volunteer ‘job’.
